POLICE ACCUSE MAN OF TWO FRIDAY ROBBERIES.(CAPITAL REGION)

SCHENECTADY -- A 29-year-old man was arraigned in City Court Saturday morning for allegedly robbing two stores on Friday, one with a gun and the other with a knife, police said.

Etrice Dukes, who was staying at the Twins Motel, entered the Domino's Pizza at 716 State St. at 6:15 p.m. Friday and held up the store, telling an employee that he had a gun, police said. He then fled the pizzeria.

Officer Tom Delaney, who was on foot patrol, checked the area. When he heard dogs barking, he spotted Dukes crouching in the rear of 308 Schenectady St., Delaney said. Dukes ran and was caught after a short chase.

An investigation by detectives led to Dukes also being charged with holding up Sassy's Satellite store earlier in the day, police said. …
