BRISBANE, Feb 4 AAP - The Anglican church would not repeat the same mistakes in itshanding of allegations of child abuse, Brisbane's new Anglican archbishop said today.

Archbishop Phillip Aspinall made the commitment following a meeting today with theprincipals and chairs of councils of Anglican schools in Queensland.

The meeting followed the controversy that has erupted over the way the church handledcomplains of child sexual abuse involving senior boarding master Kevin Guy more than 10years ago.
