NSW: Scrapping transit officers will lead to less security: oppn

SYDNEY, Feb 20 AAP - Any moves to scrap NSW rail transit officers will result in less
security on the Sydney rail network, the state opposition says.

It claims the government is scheduled to discuss a plan to replace transit officers
with police officers at a cabinet meeting next week.

The claims come as transport authorities and police discuss options to improve rail security.
